Big Bang’s Seungri was reported to have been hospitalize after a fever took on during the practice for the Asian Games concert.
According to media reports, Seungri fainted and is currently receiving treatment for his fever, which reached 40 degrees Celsius (104 Fahrenheit). It is suspected this situation occured due to Seungri getting discharged too quickly from the hospital following his recent car accident. Despite the hospital recommending surgery in the 1-2 weeks watching over him, Seungri was discharged and resumed to his activities, though it has now proven to be an unsafe decision.
Currently, Seungri is in the hospital, his blood getting drawn for additional test for possible liver blood hemorrhage.
YG Entertainment has confirmed Seungri’s hospitalization, stating,“Seungri’s health is the most important. Seungri wanted to attend the performance in Incheon’s Asian Games closing ceremony after his car accident police investigations, but YG CEO Yang Hyunsuk insisted that he focuses on getting better.”
Previously, Yongsan Police Traffic Investigations revealed that Seungri’s car accident was not a DUI and will continue investigations after his treatments are completed. Seungri was also reported to have not received external injuries following the accident and was cooperating with police.
