Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” has ranked first on M! Countdown and Music Core without even having performed it, plus this was his first full week back on music shows. Making it his "comeback week" on the show, and first week he was eligible to win.
On the 14th of June, Taeyang’s “Eyes, Nose, Lips” ranked 1st on Music Core against Jungin & Gary’s “Your Scent” and Infinite’s “Last Romeo”.
Also, on 12th of June, “Eyes, Nose, Lips” ranked 1st on M! Countdown as well, and thus on both M! Countdown and Music Core, the MC’s of the show promised to deliver the trophy to Taeyang instead.
