Korean Entertainment Industry in mourning over sunken ferry, shows & music releases put on hold!

Due to the Sewol Ferry tragedy that occurred on April 16, weekend variety programs have been cancelled for April 19 and 20.
KBS, MBC, and SBS announced on April 19, they would be cancelling all variety shows due to the continuance of the sorrow and mourning that is taking place throughout Korea following the Sewol Ferry tragedy.
The premiere of SBS’ highly anticipated new variety show, “Roommate,” has been delayed indefinitely.
“Roommate,” which stars Lee Dong Wook, Shin Sung Woo, Seo Kang Joon, Park Min Woo, Lee So Ra, Hong Soo Hyun, After School’s Nana, 2NE1’s Park Bom, and EXO‘s Chanyeol,  Song Ga Yeon, and Jo Se Ho, was set to premiere Sunday, April 20 at 4:55 PM KST. As of Monday, April 21 10:45 PM KST, the premiere has been set to this coming Sunday, April 27. 
As of April 21, 5:31 PM KST the following shows are also cancelled/postponed (YG Version only):
  • 0417/ MNET M!Countdown (Akdong Musician)
  • 0420/ SBS Inkigayo (Akdong Musician)
  • 0420/ SBS Angel Eyes (Goo Hye Sun & Seungri)
  • 0420/ SBS Running Man (2NE1)
  • 0420/ KBS Superman Is Back (Tablo & Jang Hyun Sung)
